Artist Statement:

I aim to create uplifting compositions and captivating designs that will impact mood and evoke emotions utilizing oil on canvas. Bold application of color and artful blending of lights and darks are fabricated to capture images existing in an instant of time.  My intent is not to replicate an event but to express the essence of what I see and feel.  My art world comes alive with color and meaning.  I strive to isolate what is meaningful from the unessential in my works that characterize realism.

My interests encompass all subject matters to include; still life, landscapes and portraits.
